School Breaks turn into Snack Breaks
Since starting back to school this semester, we have a two hour lunch break. What better to do than go to Cupcakes on Kavanaugh and Target!? Somehow, we always venture for food. So, when I was going through my mobile photos, I found this a little humorous.
If you have never been here, PLEASE GO!! They have O-Mazing cupcakes! Visit their website (it's under construction at the time I posted this) http://eatacupcake.com/
Peanut Butter Cup
Chocolate Brownie Truffle
After we had stalked the food isle, at the checkout, Starbucks was offering free samples! And yes, by the time I finally got a picture, I had successfully dumped half the cup on me....
MmmmmMMmmmm. Strawberry Chocolate Frappuccino, who could pass this cute little guy up!?
A Local Passion
Alex and I have recently become interested in starting our collection of fine arts. We have been touring the local galleries, but never found anything that peaked our interest. Well, a little exhibit peaked our interest, known as "Starving Artist" right here in Little Rock! We jumped on the opportunity, and purchased our first piece of art! Needless to say, I was a little too excited about this!

Friends+Art= My kind of day!
Today started off at ZaZa's, a local pizzeria in Little Rock, with one of my long-time college friends, Suzanne. We decided to indulge ourselves with yummy treats before school starts back. So, we did!
This was my VERY large, yummy, pepperoni pizza
And of course we had to have the treat of their famous Gelato !
(Gelato (Italian pronunciation: [dʒeˈlaːto]; plural: gelati) is Italy's regional variant of ice cream)
I had Mint Chocolate Chip. YUM-O!
Next, we wandered over to The Painted Pig to paint our own pottery!
visit their website! http://www.paintedpigstudio.com/
I couldn't imagine anything I needed.... But finally, after 30 minutes, I remembered a platter from The Crown Shop that I had wanted forever! FUN STORY------> when I was younger, my very creative mother, had a party using all the left over decorations from previous celebrations. You know how you collect all those extra holiday plates?? Well, she came up with the perfect solution! An EVERYTHING PARTY! So, when I saw this plate, I fell in love! The hat is an attachment, and you can change according to the seasons....
So, I decided to make my own!
Starting the DOTS!
Oops, messed one up! Oh well, mistakes make it personal, right?
Word placing, always makes me nervous!
This is the finished product before they fire it.
After that, it will look more like the picture. Don't worry, I'll post a picture!
Suze made the CUTEST measuring spoons!
This is inside The Painted Pig... I want one! Maybe I'll add that to my "To Do" list.
And finally, this is the reason me and Suze met up. We made a swap. I gave her some curtains I made, and in return, she made this hat for me! YaY for ART and FRIENDS!
She is an amazing crafter! Visit her blog at: http://beunruffled.blogspot.com/

New Years Resolutions
2011
Like everyone, my top New Years Resolutions were:
- Diet
- Exercise
- blah, blah, blah
But, among those
- Clean out 'the junk room'
- Clean out our storage unit
- Get more organized (with one of my FAVORITE Christmas gifts, my label maker =} )
- Start a blog
- Make all A's in Speech-Path from now to the end (3 1/2 more years!)
- Make a list of mini goals, and large goals and complete one mini goal a week, and one large goal a month.
...................................................And so on..........................
Now, into the eleventh day of the month (1/11/11-cool day to start a blog!) I have successfully created a blog (after 3 days of confusion), cleaned out 'the junk room' and transformed it into a bedroom(!), semi cleaned out the storage and organized two
Yes, I am bragging ;-) But, wouldn't you?
Blogging's not so bad! Think I just might like it!
